## Depositing into Orbit

Depositing funds into Orbit is simple and intuitive, there are no lock periods and it is simple to deposit funds and start earning

The Orbit Earn Vault takes native USDC as a deposit asset, although the front end will eventually accept multiple stablecoins denominations with automatic swap routing added to the deposit flow, although there likely will be some minor slippage.

Users can use the dedicate bridge or fiat inramp to receive USDC in their wallet before depositing.

An earn widget will also be developed to allow the embeding of the deposit into various partners and platforms such as wallets.

Upon depositing to Orbit, users will receive the equivalent amount of aUSDC as a receipt token, this will represent their principle plus accruing yield, this will be shown in the users wallet unless they opt in for streaming.

## Withdrawing from Orbit

Withdrawing from Orbit is simple since there are no lock-periods, select the amount to withdraw and confirm. In the background the equivalent amount of aUSDC will be burned in exchange for the assets. Although there are no lock periods, large withdrawals or withdrawals that exceed the "Liquidity buffer" can be subject to withdrawal queues.

#### **Withdrawal Queues**

Although the majority of Orbit strategies are invested in a diversified range of liquid strategies, utilisation rates differ, meaning it can take some time for liquidity to become available. On top of this the protocol may need to pull funds from various strategies and rebalance.\
This can take time some time, so to ensure a smooth process Orbit Earn has withdrawal queues into place when deposits exceed a certain threshold to ensure liquidity is available. \
\
Orbit Earn has a liquidity buffer held in highly liquid assets to ensure immediate withdrawal function is possible, when this is depleted due to increased withdrawals the protocol will work to replenish it.\
In periods where higher withdrawal rates are apparent this buffer will also automatically increase.

#### **Withdrawal Fees**

Orbit charges a small withdrawal fee to deter against spam attacks. The base fee for Orbit withdrawals is 0.1% and can increase up to a max of 0.3% in times of high volatility and withdrawal stress.
